We did it! Home Care are powerful

WOW - what a result, we overturned Keily - Feruk Choudhury was elected in Easton for Labour. In Whitchurch Park, the Labour leader Helen Holland increased her majority. In Southville Labour won by just 6 votes! All were wards targetted in our campaign. Thank you Bristol, people supported us, people know that Home Care matters! The people want their Home Care service publicly owned - BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL, YOU MUST LISTEN.

  2. Congratulations on saving the city from 157,000 extra hours of home care per year. Well done on insisting on its inevitable slow and painful publicly owned decline. Applause on condemning the elderly of Bristol to suffer while carers take 6 months at a time of fully paid 'sick leave'. You must be so very proud.

Remind us what your bosom Labour pals did in 2005? Oh, that's right - privatised the service! I'm actually not sure if the union is malicious or simply plain thick...

  3. Thanks for your comments in anticipation of our winning this. We havent won yet. Malicious or thick? Im inclined to think you dont know much about what a union is, what a union does or what a union is for. Neither do you know much about Home Care, what makes it special, why its important to fight for, why the service has so much respect from the people who benefit from it. Please dont show such contempt for hard working and dedicated carers.
